Winter Wonderland at Newport Community Park runs November 29 through January 4, transforming the park into a fully lit holiday experience with thousands of twinkling lights and a synthetic ice-skating rink. Skating is $7 per person (skates included), and group rates are available.
Regular rink hours are Wednesday and Thursday from 5-8 PM, Fridays from 5-9 PM, Saturdays from 1–8 PM, and Sundays from 1–7 PM. The rink will be closed December 24–26 and January 1.
Visitors can reserve their skating time in advance using the online reservation system, or tickets can be purchased at the rink via tap to pay or cash.
Winter Wonderland opens with a Christmas Market on November 29 from 3–8 PM, featuring craft vendors under the pavilion, holiday treats, and a dedicated Santa shed for meet-and-greet photos. The market runs alongside the first night of skating, giving families the chance to shop, explore the decorated park, and enjoy the festive atmosphere.
